There are many invisible dangers online and among them the way parasiteware operates comes first. Parasiteware is not considered harmful, even though it is a desperate attempt of web masters to make money at our expense and to get attention. Maybe web masters dont have a better way to make money and that is why they resort to such means. As a rule, when we open our browsers, they either load the default start page, which most often is the site of Microsoft, or the page we have selected to start with. People often change their start page to be Google or Yahoo! because usually the first thing they do when they open a browser is to check their email or perform a search. But sometimes you will notice that your start page has been hijacked. You will know that your start page has been hijacked, if when you open your browser you dont see the home page of your choice but an unknown site instead. At first you might think that the unknown site appears in your browser because somebody else has bookmarked it by mistake. After you make sure that this is not so, the next step is to set once more the start page you like. Do it and then check again if your start page appears or if the unknown site will show up again. If the unknown site appears again, maybe your start page has really been hijacked. We are pretty aware that each time we connect to the Net and visit sites different tracking links and cookies are stored temporarily on our computer. But there are many people, who are not technical enough to know where to find such nasties and the developers of parasiteware take advantage of that fact. Officially, parasiteware is not labeled as harmful. But this does not mean that you shouldnt try to find ways to kick it out of your computer. Nobody in their right mind will want to have nasties on his or her computer. These nasties can pretty well send behind your back your confidential information to various sites. This approach is certainly very mean. The next time you run a spyware removal tool; dont be surprised to see parasiteware detected. For sure, most computers today have a lot of them on hand. There is indeed no threat, but they are certainly up to no good. There is hardly a person in the world, who would want their computer penetrated and this is the reason why people take measures to defend their PC against hijackers. PC hijacking does not sound good and it certainly is an evil. The worst thing you can experience is when somebody has taken control of your computer. When you discover that this has happened, you should rush quickly to find a solution and heal your computer. These parasites that monitor you are making profits for mean companies. Do you think you should tolerate this? Or the fact that very often parasiteware uses your computer without your consent and commits various crimes? It is true that you cant avoid parasiteware today. Additionally, since parasiteware does not pose such a great threat for you, you might wonder if you should really worry so much about it. Yes, this is a good question to ask yourself the next time you browse the Web.
