Antivermin Spyware Is Something A Person Would Extremely Dislike To Keep on Computer

By: Isaiah Henry

Why is it so important to remove antivermin spyware? Truthfully, most Internet users might not even know what the term means. But, once discovered, users should be incensed and eager to rid the computer of a malicious and potentially dangerous program secretly downloaded to the hard drive.

Many people dont care at all about security. Yes, they have heard of other people who have become victims of malware but somehow they dont feel this as a potential threat for themselves. Those people just pretend that they never become victims of anything. It sounds as if they live on another planet, where this is possible! But burying ones head in the sand is not the right approach. No matter if you care or not, you can become a victim of modern day crimes. The only way to avoid this is by taking timely and adequate measures to protect yourself against all the nasties on the Web.

A couple of weeks ago I myself became a victim of antivermin spyware. The shocking thing is that I am a security freak and I have been working with computers for more than 30 years, so I am certainly not ignorant. However, since I am not a developer, I dont know absolutely all intricacies of spyware.

While I was performing a search for a reliable (and if possible free) anti-spyware program, I found one application, which seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. Like many other free programs, I could use this one to scan my computer for free and to fix some of the problems. But if I wanted to fix all of them, this was possible only with the paid version.

I actually almost fell for the bogus software. After all, it said I had hundreds of problem areas that were a potential threat, and I needed to get rid of them right away. However, I really wanted to find a better option that did not advertise free software and then only provide a partial program.

Therefore, I removed the program and continued my search for a better anti-spyware program. But in fact, the program did not uninstall completely and it continued to nag me with all sorts of popup messages. And the worst was that this program was actually an antivermin! The messages with warnings, threats and orders to buy the program as soon as possible continued to harass me.

I should say that I had installed and uninstalled many programs in my life but this one was really tough to get rid of. Despite all my efforts, it continued to nag me. At last, the only thing I could think of was to restore my computer to a data before I downloaded this stupid program.

To put it shortly if you manage to catch antivermin spyware, get rid of it asap. It will nag you all the time and it is malware! The longer you keep this pest on your computer, the greater the danger because it has more time to infiltrate your files. If it manages to achieve this, you will really be in hot waters!
