Candles have been in use for centuries now. At first candles were mainly used as source of light still it is used for the soft light they provide but now they have grown to be much more use. Gel Candles Gel Candles are jellylike candles that produce a rainbow like shine when lit & are made of gelled mineral oils. It is soft and transparent, rubbery somewhat consistent with Jello. Gels can also be made rigid enough to retain their own shape. Gel Candles can be poured in various shaped containers. Pillar Candles These are candles which have been poured into a mold and extracted, usually having a diameter of 2-3 inches. They are free standing with one or more wicks. Pillar candles create a designer's touch wherever they are kept. Taper Candles Taper candles are also called dinner candles. They are thin with a length of 6-18 inches tall. Taper candle should be with a designed candle holder for proper and safe burning. Tealight Candles Tealight candles are usually about 1 1/2" in diameter and around 3/4" high inside a cylindrical metal container. These small filled candles are used in food warmers or as candles in a tealight holder.
