Most of the time, this kind of time is worked into the estimated time to start with, thus, it is possible for your hose to get done quicker than what they tell you. However, most of the time, it will take the full time, if not a bit longer, to build a house. However, that is fine, because you would rather have a well built house than one that was just slapped together, right?
