My brother Dennis and I were talking about internet marketing success last night and I have never seen a person roll their eyes more then he did during that one conversation. I mean his eyes probably HURT the next day from all of that eye-rolling. And why, pray tell, was he being that way? You know the answer just as well as we all do. It's because there is a tremendous lack of honesty throughout internet marketing that has given in a black and blue and purple eye that will not ever go away. (Sorry for all the eye references.) "Make $10 Million in Your Pajamas" "Earn A Residual Income Without Lifting A Finger!!!" "Fire Your Boss, And His Boss, And Move Into Your New 45,000 Square Foot Castle By Tonight At 7:30!!!" Wow. Those are big big promises. Those are internet marketing promises. And those are exactly the reason why, when someone says that money can be made through internet marketing that the eyes start pushing back into the head looking for a way out of the skull. People have HAD IT with the lies. They want internet marketing success. Not noise. I sure did. Here's something that might be of interest...many of those headlines might actually be true! Here's one I recently saw from someone who I used to trust: "Last Month Alone, I Sponsored 3,712 People Into My Downline. And If I Can Do It...So Can You!" Here's the thing I later came to learn. This person really did bring that many people in...but that person had a subscriber list of 28 million people. He had list that he had grown. I'm not talking about one of those nonsense lead lists you buy (they're useless) I'm talking about a subscribe base of 28 million people that knew him and listened to him. So here's this guy...being honest...but NOT being honest. Because he had 28 million people to tap into...that's how he got those new people. YOU DO NOT. So while the honesty was there in case of legal ramifications, the fine print was not. And not only does that have to end, but dare I be honest for a moment, I do believe I've discovered a way to be as honest as possible and still have others RUN BACK to internet marketing. Sometimes I get the impression that internet marketing success has more to do with a new level of internet marketing honesty!
