More than ten Offroad snus products

If most of the big name brands come from the country of the snus, Sweden, the Offroad snus is produced by a company in Denmark. The company produces three smokeless tobacco products, all of them in small batches. Their most successful series is the Offroad. In this series they offer more than 10 products with different flavors. Like all the other producers they use both packaging: loose cuts and portioned sachets. The other two products offered are the Phantom and the Baccoff nicotine free tobacco product.

If the Phantom snus is relatively known, the Offroad series is a very successful one. Even though the producer is a very small family owned company, they realized the importance of having a good product that completely satisfies the customer and lets him or her have a good time even if in a non smoking environment. The series developed and added new flavors both to offer its customers variety and to extend on the market. Thus the Offroad snus series offer products with apple, cranberry, coffe-vanilla, icemint, wintergreen and liquorice flavors apart from the original product. They also offer portion, strong portion, loose and long cut products in the Offroad series. The loose product is intended for people who like to make their own portions, who enjoy raw smokeless tobacco products. The portioned product which comes in sachets is intended for people who enjoy tidy and convenient smokeless tobacco products.

The Phantom series has only four different products, two each in both loose and portioned package. These products are the Phantom Classic and the Phantom Classic Blue. The latter being the newest product of the company. Phantom Classic Blue has a traditional snus aroma and a hint of sweet fresh herbs. If this can be called a limited series both in term of products and batch size, not the same can be said about the Offroad snus series. The Offroad comes in Offroad Portion products, Offroad Strong Portions with more than 30% nicotine, Offroad Loose and Offroad Long cut. The Offroad Portion products are: Offroad Original Portion, Offroad Liquorice Portion, Offroad Cranberry Portion, Offroad Wintergreen Portion, Offroad Icemint Portion, Offroad Apple Portion, and Offroad Coffe-Vanilla Portion. The Offroad Strong Portions products are the Offroad Original Strong Portion and the Offroad Cranberry Strong Portion. The Offroad Loose products are Offroad Original Loose, Offroad Liquorice Loose, Offroad Cranberry Loose, Offroad Wintergreen Loose and Offroad Icemint Loose. The Offroad Long Cut products are the Offroad Long Cut - Pure tobacco and the Offroad Long Cut - American Wintergreen.

All the Offroad products have the main ingredients as the Swedish snus. They contain water, tobacco, salt and some of them contain flavors. The proportion of water in the Offroad Portion and Offroad Strong Portion product is 52%. Also the pouch size is the same for both and it is 18x33 mm weighting one gram. Each box has 24 grams or 24 pouches. The only difference between the two of them is the level of nicotine which is 8 mg/g for the Offroad Portion and 12 mg/g for the Offroad Strong Portion. The Offroad Loose comes packaged in cans containing each 50 grams of product with 8 mg/g nicotine and 56% water in composition. The bigger percentage of water will make the product more moist and thus easier to portion.
