I am not an expert in Cancer Care and do not claim what I am about to say is medically researched and approved in any way. All I want to do is let you know a personal experience I had with my Sister-in-Law who had breast cancer but who eventually died from it. It is a sad story, but may it may help someone who is in the same situation, and, after all, has nothing to lose by reading my story. It was some 20 or more years ago that I was informed my sister-in-law had breast cancer and needed an operation, I felt sorry for her as she was one of the nicest persons you could ever meet. She was always smiling and nothing ever bothered her. I cannot recall a single time I had ever seen her angry or upset with anyone. She seemed to sail through life letting nothing worry her or upset her. She avoided conflict and always walked away from trouble. She had her operation and it was successful, but was told that it may return. She asked my advice as she knew that at the time I 'dabbled' in Alternative Medicine and knew something of the value of herbs and vitamins. I suggested that she took a combination of Selenium and Vitamins A, C and E. At the time it was quite rare to find that combination in the health shops, but we found them in our local Holland and Barrett health store. I explained that the combination fought the free radicals in her body and may prevent the cancer returning. I made no promises and she followed my advice. Her health improved and everyone was happy with her and then about a year later I was shocked and saddened to learn that the breast cancer had returned. Shortly afterwards she passed on into the next world. It was much later that I asked her son about the circumstances as I believed she had continued to take her daily dose of Selenium ACE and wondered why it had not kept her healthy. Her son told me that shortly before the cancer returned, she had stopped taking the Selenium ACE believing that it was no longer necessary as she had taken them for about a year and felt fine. This, of course, could have been sheer coincidence, but I personally believe that she may have lived much longer had she continued with her medication. As I said, I have no medical research or proof that Selenium ACE will prevent cancer, but whoever you are reading this article, please do more research on the subject and perhaps my little story will help you, or a close one, in some small way.
